Many eagles will grab a fish and then try to eat it in midair. There’s good reason for this. It minimizes the chances of losing the fish to another eagle. But you can’t swallow a fish tail first…so a little juggling act is in order. In this case the bird is barely holding onto the fish by a fin…but it did eventually get it right and it quickly went down the hatch.
