I decided to head over to a local marsh to see what was happening around sunrise. Hundreds of Trumpeter Swans have come in there now that the water has opened up from the ice. Very few swans bothered leaving the water to go feed in some nearby fields but the frost and fog in the background made it a beautiful morning.
