Another Dam Eagle – Bald Eagle

I’m playing catch up today.  I forgot to post this one during the late winter…but it was a good one so I wanted to share it.  It really showcases the bird’s environment around here.  Of course, we see eagles just about anywhere nowadays, but in the heart of winter, you’ll find them at the dams where open water is maintained, no matter how cold it gets.  It isn’t the most natural setting I guess…pine trees tend to look better than concrete, but the birds don’t really care…they’ve figured out what sustains them and will adapt to use whatever we conjure up.
